Karel Telecoms was founded in 2006 as the sole importer and distributor of the Karel PABX brand in Southern Africa. Our core focus is the distribution of Karel PABX systems and technical support services to our Karel Reseller network across the SADC region of Sub-Saharan Africa. We supply a range of Analogue, Digital and IP PBXs, from 8 ports up to 1000 ports, and more than 1000 ports with the Karel IPG Series.
The telecommunications industry is constantly evolving, and since COVID lockdown in 2020 the full spectrum of ICT solutions was completely overhauled to meet the demand for remote connectivity and “working from home”. In line with new trends, Karel Telecomms business strategy was to adapt our product range to address the numerous requests for remote working solutions from both our distribution network as well as the growing retail and project industries. Extensive market research was conducted into latest technology, and skillsets were enhanced to incorporate complimentary services such as VoIP, Cloud-hosting, Network Cabling, Server Room builds, managed IT services, CCTV and related value-added products.
